BusinessWeek have published an online report called Design Thinking. The report highlights world-class design and business schools, including National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad.

The special report, Design Thinking considers how best to educate the design thinkers and innovators of tomorrow. As economies and corporations struggle to innovate, there is a drive to marry analytical and creative thinking, in order to bring inventive problem solving to the corporate environment.

The best D-schools

National Institute of Design in Ahmedabad is featured in the top 30 D-schools around the world. 42 academics, designers, consultants, and business managers - including India Insights - were asked to recommend master's and MBA programs that combine design thinking and business administration.

India innovation and education

NID offers a two-year program, taught in English that teachers practical design techniques and business and management skills. Students are taught to understand the consumer and user experience.
